In July of 1996, the British Department of Health issued a warning that the phyto-estrogens found in soy-based infant formulas could adversely affect infant health. Getting Familiar With Protein
It is impossible to overemphasize the importance of adequate dietary protein, when considering the modern day athlete.
Both strength and endurance of an athlete's body exist in a perpetual cycle of muscle breakdown and rebuilding and, as a result, have much greater protein requirements than people who choose to not engage in regular strenuous physical activity.
Supplementation may be the answer.
