I've treated many, many women for menopausal symptoms and to help ease them through the transition from an active reproductive life to a post-reproductive life.  Here are my favorite tried and true answers...

For hot flashes and spontaneous sweating - Zizyphus, Sage, Hawthorn

For nervous system issues - Oats Seed, Vervain, Skullcap, Motherwort (careful with thyroid issues), St. John's Wort, Zizyphus

For depression - St. John's Wort, Lavender

Insomnia - Valerian, Passion flower, Zizyphus, Lavender, Hops, California Poppy, Jamaica Dogwood

Frequent infections - Echinacea, Andrographis, Cat's Claw, Eleuthero, Korean Ginseng, Astragalus, Ashwaganda

Urinary Tract Issues - Crataeva, Buchu, Thyme, Uva Ursi, Corn Silk, Couch Grass

Vaginal Thrush or Yeast - Calendula, Pau d'Arco, Cat's Claw

Vaginal Dryness - Calendula, Evening Primrose Oil, Vitamin E topically.

Estrogen Balance - Black Cohosh, White Peony, Korean Ginseng, False Unicorn, Wild Yam, Tribulus

Adrenal Support - Licorice, Rehmannia, Eleuthero, Korean Ginseng, Ashwaganda, Codonopsis, Astragalus

Weak Liver - Schisandra, Milk Thistle, Rosemary, Turmeric

Low Libido - Tribulus, Korean Ginseng, Shatavari

Digestive Stimulant - Gentian, Dandelion, Golden Seal, Ginger, Cinnamon

Blending a customized formula for a woman is a blessing and can help her manage this change of life easily and without symptoms.  I have women calling up each month to reorder their tonic and each one reports having no symptoms at all.  So create your own solution with these tried and true extracts.
