How The Body Works : The Process of Healing
Healing Your Body With Your Thoughts
Louise Hay was one of the most interesting people to put forth the concept that every illness is a manifestation of unresolved emotional thoughts and experiences.   In fact, she stated that, “for every effect in our lives, there is a thought pattern that precedes and maintains it.   Our consistent thinking patterns create our experiences.   Therefore, by changing our thinking patterns, we can change our experiences.”   Are emotional issues driving your body to the brink?

The Candida Handbook
I can't tell you how many of my patients are absolutely convinced they have Candida.  They read it on a website, their symptoms are listed in a book, someone told them they did, they had a test.  I'm here to tell you that often, the symptoms you are experiencing are not Candida, which explains why whatever treatment you choose, does not eliminate the symptoms altogether. Instead, they keep returning.  True Candida infestation is simply a natural process of your intestinal tract that has gone out of control, often after antibiotic therapy, severe stress, long-term intestinal cleansing or severe illness.  So don't jump to conclusions, but instead keep your head and read on.

How The Body Works : The Process of Healing
Endometriosis & Fibroids, A True Curse.

Doctors spend a great deal of time agonizing with their patients over endometriosis, fibroids and cysts. These are the most common female issues that occur in seemingly normal, healthy women. In fact, there can be long-standing unresolved imbalances that will lead to these reactions by the body and by working on the underlying issues in addition to addressing the excessive growth of tissue, great progess can be made.  The point is to not allow these conditions to go unchecked and untreated. Prescription options rarely provide relief and resolution, instead subjecting women to pain and seclusion every month. Reach into the natural world and you will find many more options than you thought existed.

Digestion 101: Structural Issues

How our digestive tract is structured can lead to various symptoms as we age. Often childbirth, injury, surgery or posture can all change the angles and positioning of our gut and the organs that are attached to our digestive tract. Issues such as cysts, tumors, hiatal hernia and even prolapses can be at the root of constipation, bloating, pain and abdominal distention.

Digestion 101: Stomach Acid & Reflux

One of the biggest mistakes my patients make, is thinking that an acid stomach and acid reflux issues mean they have too much acid in their stomach. Actually it means just the opposite.  So don't make the mistake of popping antacids as a solution, and don't reach for the Xantac, Pepcid AC or the little purple pill. Instead try natural options and your gut will thank you.

Digestion 101: Parasites
Most of us associate parasites only with third-world countries, drinking contaminated water or eating spoiled food. The reality is very different. Parasites can live in almost every environment, can be passed from person to person, from animal to person and can live in our body systems for years, continually reproducing using the food that we eat. Many countries, such as Australia, consider parasites a standard health issue, and most Australians perform anti-worming or anti-parasitic protocols two or even three times each year.  It's time we took it more seriously.

How The Body Works : The Process of Healing
Digestion 101: Inflammation
Inflammation is the first step the body has not only to combat irritation or injury now, but to continue to cause inflammation in the attempt to induce healing. This chronic inflammation can reduce the body's ability to heal over time. Add to this a poor diet, stress or erratic meals and the digestion process becomes agony.
